Finals week kicked off today, I had a busy day at work and a late night reviewing contract theory and going through problems. Had to submit my placement preferences today for division transfers, part of me wonders if anything I wrote down really matters a whole lot, I’m thinking in the bigger picture probably not. I’m at a crossroads of sorts in my short but so far eventful career, honestly the way that the placement decision comes down might actually either steer me out, or keep me in. all depends on how the cards lay out.
Couldn’t help but make some interal connections with the NFL draft that was held this past weekend, in many ways thats what this whole rotational program is about, really allowing each divisions management try the younger, aspiring employees out, to see whether they are division material or not. Lots of hype involved, rumors, behind the scene deals, inside information and disimformation. I guess in the end it really isn’t up tome at all, really the big boys upstairs will make the final call and I’ll just have to go along with it.
I suppose I’m in a decent spot, really between a bunch of divisions that have relatively favorable opinions of me considering the time spent with them. you can never downplay the value in having options for sure.
Coming up on the 7th year of this online journal, I had decided to clear off the previous 4 years due to lack of space and clutter, but maybe I’ll be reposting the older entries from my grad school and college days in Madison if I can find the storage space. Part of the perks of having a mirror site in the works is that it gives you an opportunity to redesign and re-conceptualize the way things are organized.
